John Holland

General Manager

Prior to the oilfield, John worked in an operational leadership position for 15 years in the new automobile transportation industry where product quality and logistical efficiency were top priorities. John transitioned to the oilfield in 2008 and spent the next several years helping to grow a successful directional company. This job ultimately led to him become General Manager, overseeing all aspects of the business, from the office to the field.

In 2014, John was given the rewarding yet challenging opportunity to build a brand new directional company from the ground up. Hawkeye Directional was born! With his many years of prior experience, John immediately set out to build a dream team. Today that team is growing and making a difference in our industry. It consists of employees, contractors and vendors. This team is Hawkeye Directional!

Bill Sneed

Operations Manager/Coordinator

It takes one to know one... After graduating from East Central University with a Bachelor's in Business in 2001, Bill went to work in corporate America in a suit and tie, among the high rise buildings of Dallas, Tx. He finally found his way to the oilfield in 2006. From 2006-2007, Bill worked as a MWD Field hand. From there he received training and became a Directional Driller from 2008 -2018. He has drilled more than a 150 wells in 5 states. Several of those for Hawkeye Directional. After 12 years in the field, he answered the call to become part of our management team.

Bill brings a unique perspective to his position. Having owned a successful small business outside the oilfield and his prior work in big business, his experience is an asset to Hawkeye Directional as we grow. Additionally, his many years of field experience help to find, hire, train and manage personnel that make up our premium field team!

Jesus Hermosillo

Motor/Tool Manager

Jesus began working on oil rigs for Bronco Drilling in 2005. In 2007 he moved to NOV's Oklahoma City down-hole tool shop. Over the years, Jesus gained vast knowledge of down-hole tool operation and service. From shocks, jars, reamers and stabilizers to collars and mud motors, Jesus has expertise in service and troubleshooting most conventional down-hole tools used in today's directional BHA's. Jesus began managing a down-hole shop in 2012 and joined the Hawkeye team in 2014. Jesus runs a tight ship and has built an expert team!

Shawn Eisenman

Lead Well Planner

Shawn started his oilfield career in 2004 as a wireline truck operator for JW Wireline. In 2007 he became a field MWD technician, a position he held until 2014. Shawn took his field knowledge of working on more than 100 horizontal wells, over 7 years, and applied that to a career in well planning. Shawn received formal well plan training from Halliburton and now uses these skills and talents for Hawkeye on a daily basis. Shawn prides himself prompt, friendly and accurate service. Every-time! Ask anyone who has worked with him and they will tell you, this guy is on point!

Gary Bennett

MWD Shop Manager

Gary proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002-2007. He was a Navigation Communication Technician on rotary aircraft. In 2007, Gary brought his extensive knowledge of electronics to the oil field employed by GE Sondex. Working for a MWD manufacturer gave him an opportunity to gain a depth of understanding about MWD's that is uncommon among service companies in today's market. His passion for excellence and innovation has helped Hawkeye Directional gain a reputation for MWD reliability and cutting edge technology. Gary began managing our MWD service operations in 2014.
